Singapore reports 13 new COVID-19 cases

SINGAPORE, March 7 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 13 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the country's total tally to 60,033.

The new infections are all imported cases.

On Sunday, 15 more patients were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 59,894 patients have fully recovered from the coronavirus epidemic, the ministry said.

There are currently 24 active cases being treated in hospitals, and one of them is in critical condition.

Furthermore, 86 infected people are being isolated and cared for at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

The COVID-19 related death toll stands currently at 29 for Singapore. Enditem
