Namibia beat Uganda in cricket ODI series

WINDHOEK, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Namibia beat Uganda in the One Day International (ODI) series on Thursday, sealing off their dominance against the east Africans.

The Namibians batted first and posted a monumental 354 runs for nine wickets in their allotted 50 overs.

This was the second time Namibia surpassed the 300 mark after their superb batting performance on Wednesday.

In form Namibian opening batsman Stephan Baard made 145 runs and led from the front, while Devan La Cock his opening partner chipped in with 64 runs.

The two shared a partnership of over 100 runs.

In reply, Uganda only managed 192 runs for the loss of all 10 wickets and was bowled out in just above 44 overs. Enditem
