Aerial photo taken on Nov. 18, 2020 shows a ship loaded with reef-like artificial coral reef nurseries heading for designated areas in Yazhou Bay of Sanya, south China's Hainan Province. The ecological restoration demonstration in Yazhou Bay has achieved initial effects. The project is proposed based on the urgent need for the restoration of Hainan coastal ecosystem. Researchers carry out systematic ecological restoration activities for the coral reef ecosystem around Dongluo Island. Thanks to researchers' work, the survival rate of coral has reached more than 70 percent. And the coral coverage rate has increased by 10 percent. (Xinhua/Yang Guanyu)
