Luo Xiwen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor with the South China Agricultural University, has been carrying out research on the navigation and automatic operation of agricultural machinery since 2004.

Luo's various milestone breakthroughs in this area have laid the foundation for unmanned farming, allowing the realization of intelligent agriculture through smart technology.

Unmanned farms can carry out full automation of the cultivation, management, collection, and production of crops, while allowing the intelligent decision-making and accurate operation of machinery.
