Many Japanese people have voiced strong opposition to their government's decision to dump Fukushima's contaminated radioactive wastewater into the sea.
Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said on Tuesday that his government has decided to discharge contaminated radioactive wastewater in Fukushima Prefecture into the sea amid domestic and international opposition.
Local people have staged rallies earlier this week before the Prime Minister's office protesting against the decision.
A Japanese woman has expressed her strong regret over the government's decision, saying that it is "a crime."
