BRUSSELS, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Belgium on Monday ended its ban on non-essential travel within the European Union (EU). As for travel outside the bloc, the European rules remain in force, according to the measures taken by its Consultation Committee.

The consultation committee, which met last week, has taken measures to relax the COVID-19 rules in line with a timetable that gives perspective to the contact professions, hotels, restaurants and catering sectors, cultural activities, as well as the social bubble.
