BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Shenhua will not get carried away by their first-round win over Beijing Guoan of this season, the Chinese Super League club press official Ma Yue said.
The Shanghai side got off to a desired start of the new season when they beat Beijing Guoan 2-1 last Saturday, but Ma urged the public not to read too much into this win.
"Some media begin to analyze the group of title contenders after only one round. It is understandable in terms of media communication. But our team will stay sober," he wrote on social media.
"The bona fide powerhouse should be able to remain strong throughout the whole season, not just in one match. Our team is still far from that. We will stay united and always keep focused on the next game," he wrote. Enditem
