A railway linking Lhasa with Nyingchi in China's Tibet is set to open in June.

It is the first electrified railroad in Tibet.

Construction of the 435-km railway started in 2014.

More than 130,000 people participated in the construction of the railway.

The railway bridge crossing the Yarlung Zangbo River completed closure in September 2018.

Now, workers are busy preparing for the official operation of the railway.

The railway has a designed speed of 160 km per hour.

Bullet trains will run on the railway.
