SINGAPORE, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Only true science-based study can produce convincing results about the origin of COVID-19, an opinion published in the Chinese-language daily Lianhe Zaobao said on Tuesday.
"Investigation by intelligence agencies is obviously not a science-based study, and not a work aiming at finding out the truth," said the article.
"Such an incomprehensive small-scope investigation targeting at a single country is impossible to get the true results," it added. ■
