SUZHOU, China, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Wuhan FC drew 2-2 with Changchun Yatai, while Beijing Guoan chalked up a 1-0 victory over Dalian Pro in the 10th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) here on Saturday.
In the 25th minute, Wuhan broke the deadlock as Jean Evrard Kouassi scored a header before Changchun's Junior Negao tied the match with a header in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Changchun striker Tan Long reversed the game, but 10 minutes later, Wuhan equalized the match 2-2 as Anderson Lopes converted a penalty shot.
Elsewhere, Cedric Bakambu scored a penalty in the 74th minute for Beijing Guoan. Guoan forwards could have doubled the score in the box, but they finally missed.
"The match was very competitive and the three points are important for us to stay as top four in the group," said Guoan head coach Slaven Bilic at the post-game press conference.
Other two games on Saturday saw Hebei FC beat Tianjin Jinmen Tigers 2-1 and Shanghai Port defeated Shanghai Shenhua 1-0. Enditem
