A volunteer rescue team has been touched by a villager's move to put others' lives first in China's flood-hit Henan Province.

The rescue team is made of 12 veterans from China's Shandong Province. They went to rescue trapped villagers in Xinxiang, Henan.

On July 24, villager Wang Naitian from Hanguangtun Village showed the rescuers the way out when staying in deep water holding a tree branch.

Wang sticked there until all the trapped villagers were rescued.
