JERUSALEM, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Israel confirmed on Sunday that one of its drones has fallen in Syria the previous day, a military spokesperson said in a statement.
"During a routine activity, an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Israel Defense Forces fell in Syrian territory because of a technical malfunction," the statement read.
It added that no information within the drone was compromised and an investigation into the incident is underway.
