WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 114 km NW of Copiapo, Chile at 0324 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 11.64 km, was initially determined to be at 26.7015 degrees south latitude and 71.214 degrees west longitude. ■
