GENEVA, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation has named its 23-player women's ice hockey team for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
"I'm absolutely convinced about the firepower of our team and that we will continue our path at the Olympic Games," said Colin Muller, the team's head coach.
Switzerland reached the semifinals at the recent 2021 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship and aim at playing for the medals again in Beijing.
The team will travel to Beijing on January 26 for the start of the Olympic women's ice hockey tournament on February 3. ■
