Nkegbe aspires to win Ghana's first Paralympic medal

ACCRA, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Ghana's paralympic athlete Raphael Botsyo Nkegbe said he is optimistic of winning the country's first Paralympic Games medal at the coming Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

In an interview with Xinhua, the wheelchair racer in men's 100m T54, said, "I have prepared very well and will certainly win the first Paralympic Games medal for Ghana."

Nkegbe, who returned to the country from a month's training in America, said he has improved tremendously and would make a huge mark for Ghana in Tokyo.

Nkegbe who participated at the Paralympic Games in Athens, Beijing, and London said, he has the required experiences to win.
