MOGADISHU, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- A suicide car bomb rocked the Somali capital, Mogadishu, on Wednesday, police and witnesses said.
The police said the midday attack which targeted a security convoy occurred along Mogadishu's 21st October road near heavily fortified Ade Aden International Airport.
"There are casualties but we have not established the number. The suicide bomber targeted a convoy which was carrying some people," a police officer who declined to be named told Xinhua by the phone.
No group has claimed responsibility for the latest attack. ■
