BAKU, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Tajikistan is interested in strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan, visiting Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said here on Friday.
"Today, we have exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues," Rahmon said during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, adding that Azerbaijan is one of the priorities of Tajikistan's foreign policy.
Rahmon held a one-on-one meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, on Friday, and a set of agreements was signed after the meeting.
