PHNOM PENH, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia confirmed one new imported COVID-19 case on Friday, bringing the total number of infections in the kingdom to 484, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement.

The new case was found on a 25-year-old foreign woman who arrived in the kingdom on Wednesday from the United Arab Emirates via a connecting flight in Singapore, the statement said.

"The woman tested positive for the COVID-19 upon her arrival, and she is currently undergoing treatment at the National Center for Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control in Phnom Penh," it said.

The remaining 73 passengers on the same flight have been placed under a mandatory 14-day quarantine at designated quarantine facilities in the capital Phnom Penh, it added.

The Southeast Asian nation has so far registered a total of 484 COVID-19 cases, with zero deaths and 470 recoveries, the statement said. Enditem
