PHNOM PENH, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia on Tuesday confirmed one more death from the COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in the kingdom to five, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement.
The deceased patient was a 62-year-old Cambodian woman residing in capital Phnom Penh. She was confirmed to have infected COVID-19 on Sunday.
"The doctors concluded that the 62-year-old woman died from the COVID-19, which caused severe damage to her lungs," the statement said.
According to the MoH, the Southeast Asian nation has officially reported a total of 1,788 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic, with five deaths and 999 recoveries. Enditem
