Cambodia says 2 more die of COVID-19, bringing death toll to 13

PHNOM PENH, March 31 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia on Wednesday confirmed two more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 13, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement.

The Southeast Asian nation has officially reported a total of 2,440 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic in January last year, the MoH said, adding that currently, there are 1,234 active cases in the kingdom.

Cambodia began its anti-COVID-19 inoculation drive on Feb. 10. As of Tuesday, more than 400,600 people in the priority groups had been vaccinated against the virus, a government report showed. Enditem
