3. Because of too many patients, he has skipped lunch for 30 years, just to have several more patients diagnosed.
4. Once when examining patients, he felt so sharp a pain in the stomach that he could not even straighten his back. He clutched his stomach with one hand and examined the patient with the other hand. After having examined all the patients in the evening, he was diagnosed with a gangrenous appendix, which almost killed him on the job.
