MOSCOW, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Russia confirmed 8,320 new coronavirus infections over the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 4,649,710, the official monitoring and response center said Monday.
The national COVID-19 death toll rose by 277 to 103,263 in the past day, while the number of the country's recoveries grew by 6,656 to 4,272,165.
Meanwhile, Moscow, Russia's worst-hit region, reported 1,833 new cases, taking its total to 1,050,149.
Almost 124 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted across the country. Enditem
