A new China-Europe freight train service began Monday, linking Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, with Munich, Germany.

Europeans are chasing a new fashion to take China-designed new energy coaches as a fresh means of transportation as Europe strengthens its efforts to fight gas emission.

Central China's Wuhan city, a transportation hub, has seen more than 200 Sino-European freight trains so far this year, said local authorities on Saturday.

Russian businessman Ruslan, who has been in China for six years but speaks Chinese poorly, found it much easier to renew his work visa with the help of a Russian clerk at a service center.
