Mexican FM plans visits to ensure COVID-19 vaccine supplies: media

MEXICO CITY, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard has said that he plans to visit Russia, China, India and the United States to ensure supplies of COVID-19 vaccines for his country, according to media reports.

At a regular government news conference with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Tuesday, Ebrard said the dates for his visits have yet to be confirmed, but he plans to embark on them "very soon," according to a Reuters report.

"The aim is to ensure that Mexico has the vaccines agreed in the times set out during the next few weeks," Ebrard said. Enditem
