Global Display Industry Spring Trend Release (2020) was held in Gu'an, North China's Hebei Province on Monday.
It was the first multinational conference for the display industry held since the COVID-19 outbreak.
During the conference, Liang Xinqing, executive vice chairman and secretary general of China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association LCB, said the display industry had become more relevant to people's lives amid the COVID-19 battle.
New products and application scenarios have emerged and brought new opportunities for the display industry, such as livestreaming system, video conferences, online education, facial recognition and medical displays, Liang stressed.
Liang highlighted that China Fortune Land Development (CFLD) has built new-type display industry clusters in Gu'an and across the country.
It has played an important role in promoting the new-type display industry and technology commercialization, Liang added.
