   2016-11-14 19:15:00

The chief of the Chinese government's liaison office in Hong Kong says the NPC Standing Committee is lawfully entitled to interpret the Basic Law.

Zhang Xiaoming said NPC's law interpretation does not go against Hong Kong's judicial independence.
