YANGON, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported eight more COVID-19 deaths on Monday night, bringing the death toll in the country to 32 in total, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry .
According to the release, all patients with underlying diseases recently tested positive for COVID-19, died on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday respectively.
A total of 180 more COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported on Monday night, the release said.
The newly confirmed cases brought the number of infection cases of COVID-19 in the country to 3,195 in total.
According to the ministry's figures, 790 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
