TRIPOLI, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Foreign ambassadors of western and Arab countries to Libya on Thursday presented their credentials to the UN-backed unity government in Tripoli.
The credentials were presented to the Prime Minister Fayez Serraj and Foreign Minister Mohamed Sayala.
The ambassadors are Ronaldo Ostrohm of Austria, Hassan Mohammed Al-Hard of Yemen, Ahmad Aydin Dogan of Turkey, and David Sproule of Canada.
They also expressed their countries' support for the government of national accord in its quest to unite efforts in order to end Libya's current crises.
Sayala said the ministry will receive credentials of other ambassadors, including the Italian ambassador.
Meanwhile, the minister said that he expects the United States to continue the support for the Libyan people and the government.
The unity government has been appointed based on a UN-sponsored political deal signed by Libya's political rivals in order to end the country's state of division.
