Golden Pebble Beach

Dalian Golden Pebble Beach State Tourist Resort lies on the Yellow Sea in southeast of Dalian and next to Dayao Bay of Dalian Economic & Technical Development Zone(ETDZ).

In 1992, the state government approved a plan to build a national tourist resort in Dalian Golden Pebble Beach in order to accommodate overseas tourists, hence Dalian Golden Pebble Beach State Tourist Resort coming into being.

Dalian Golden Pebble Beach State Tourist Resort covers a land area of 61.5 square kilometers, water surface 58 square kilometers, and the start-up phase of development an area of 13.6 square kilometers.

The transportation system is very convenient. The Golden Pebble Beach State Tourist Resort is 58 km from the downtown center of Dalian, 56 km from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport, 33 km from Jinzhou Railway Station and the toll gate of Shenyang-Dalian Expressway, 18 km from Dalian Economic & Technical Development Zone, only 10 nautical miles from Dayao Bay Harbor area, and 20 nautical miles from Dalian Port. The constructions of living utilities such as water supply, sewerage, power supply, heating system and telecommunications are well done.

The tourist resort owns a golf course, a sand bathing beach, a geographical exhibition site, a waxing imagery museum, a boating club and a hunting club and so on.

The bathing beach line is more than 15 kilometers long with soft sand and low level shore ground. There are about 50 scenic spots, each having its own style and characteristics. It is a unique natural scenic area combined with blue waters, sand beaches, and multi-shaped reefs etc.
