A sightseeing train

Dalian Forest Zoo is located at Baiyunyanshui, the beautiful spot in the south of Dalian. Facing the sea, the Forest zoo covers an area of 7.2 square kilometers with hills in its back.

The whole zoo is divided into six sections: herbivorous animals site, lions and tigers hill, black orang-utans garden, monkey hill, bear hill, and Asian-elephant palace. The zoo exhibits more than 130 kinds of animals. The integrated District containing pandas, lesser pandas, flamingos, around-the-clock Tropical Rain Forest Palace, the Science Palace. All of these compose a rhythm of green and life, which makes the theme, animals is human beings's friends forever, embodied everywhere in the zoo.

Three novel viaducts cross from South to North. The Sightseeing trains provide convenient access in the Zoo. Besides telephones, food service, children amusement places, the zoo also provides prams, cars for the disabled.
