ANKARA, June 8 (Xinhua) -- A car bomb attack by Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) militants hit a police headquarter in southeastern Turkish province of Mardin on Wednesday, Dogan News reported.
The explosion occurred in front of the police headquarter in Midyat town of Mardin at around 11 a.m. local time (GMT+3), the police building were seriously damaged.
Police forces clashed with PKK militants shortly after the explosion. Many ambulances and reinforcement soldiers from security forces were sent to the scene immediately.
