BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Foreign leaders, political parties and organizations around the world have been sending their best wishes and congratulations as the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) convened in Beijing Wednesday.

The messages, lauding the CPC's leadership as well as China's socio-economic development and global contributions, expressed confidence that the CPC would lead China to greater success.
