BUJUMBURA, March 16 (Xinhua) -- At least three bodies were recovered from debris on Friday after a three-story building collapsed on construction agents in Bujumbura, the police said.
Witnesses said the building located in Ntahangwa District in northern Bujumbura collapsed by 10 a.m. local time on Friday while construction agents were at work.
Rescue teams also discovered from debris a person who was still alive but in critical conditions, said police.
The reason behind the collapse is still unknown.
