LAGOS, April 11 (Xinhua) -- At least five serving policemen have been arrested in Lagos, Nigeria's economic hub, over an alleged robbery attempt in a Lagos suburb.
The suspects were identified to be operatives attached to Special Anti- Robbery Squad (SARS), Chike Oti, a police spokesperson told Xinhua on Wednesday.
They were arrested over the alleged robbery attempt on a businessman, Immanuel James, on Monday.
Those involved are currently undergoing interrogation at the police X-Squad Section, Oti said.
