TUNIS, June 22 (Xinhua) -- An army corporal was arrested and will be sued for trying to help a main suspect flee, the Tunisian Defense Ministry confirmed Friday.
The suspect organized illegal immigration on June 2 from Kerkennah Islands in eastern Tunisia, which turned into a tragic boat sinking with 87 deaths.
The army corporal was intercepted on Thursday in Kerkennah while he was trying to get the suspect off the islands by hiding him in a car.
