ANTANANARIVO, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Madagascar is scheduled to hold a presidential election on November 7, Prime Minister Christian Ntsay said on Friday.
"The first round of presidential election will be held on Nov. 7, 2018 and the second round will be held on Dec. 19, 2018," the prime minister said after a decision was taken by a government council Friday.
The prime minister also called on politicians to make efforts for appeasement for the realization of the election.
