SARAJEVO, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Three women were dead and two persons severely injured in a traffic accident on Friday night at the highway connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) capital Sarajevo and Zenica, a city located some 75 kilometers northwest of the capital.

The accident occurred when a vehicle of BMW brand, due to the high speed, turned on the right side of the highway, hitting the metal fence. The vehicle was not registered in a proper way and had two different plates on a front and back side of the car, Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUPKS) told local media on Saturday.

Two women, 17 and 18 years old, were immediately killed after the traffic accident, while another 17 year-old girl died from her injuries later in Sarajevo University Clinical Center (KCUS), KCUS confirmed to local media.
