Tunisian minister in charge of constitutional affairs submits resignation

TUNIS, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Minister of Relations with the Constitutional Authorities, Civil Society and Human Rights submitted Saturday his resignation to Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed.

"My resignation has been accepted," confirmed Mehdi Ben Gharbia in a video broadcasted on his official account on social network facebook.

The real reason for his decision is still unknown.

Regarding the current situation, Gharbia explained "only reforms can bring Tunisia out of its crisis. I will always support the government."
