Serbian Partizan beat Rudar into Europa League qualifying 2nd round

BELGRADE, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Serbian Partizan won the second leg match 3-0 in the first round of UEFA Europa League qualifying against Montenegrin Rudar Pljevlja here on Thursday, easily advancing into the second round qualifying in the tournament.

Serbian team took the early lead in the 11th minute when Seydouba Soumah passed the ball close to the goalline with Danilo Pantic connecting up to turn it into a goal.

Partizan made the second goal in 44th minute when Nemanja Miletic sent a long pass to Ognjen Ozegovic who scored with a header, achieving his first goal this season.

In the last ten minutes of the match, Partizan benefited greatly from its attacking style of play which resulted several great chances, and in one of them in the 82nd minute Ricardo Gomes struck the third goal after dribbling through two players of Rudar's defense and beating the goalkeeper Marko Vukovic from the close range.

Until the final whistle, Partizan continued to attack Rudar's goal, creating several scoring chances and ended the match with 63 percent of ball possession.

With this victory Partizan expanded the 3-0 result from the first leg and with an aggregate of 6-0, they proceed to the second qualifying round where they will face Lithuanian Trakai.
