RABAT, July 22 (Xinhua) -- The strike of the pilots of Morocco's flag carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), continued for three days in a row, forcing the company to cancel another four flights on Sunday.

RAM tweeted that the cancellations concern two flights between Morocco's largest airport in Casablanca and France and two others with Morocco's top tourist hub Marrakech.

The Moroccan airline cancelled 10 flights on Friday and 4 others on Saturday because of what the company termed as "social tensions" with pilots.

Tensions between RAM and its pilots have intensified since Monday after talks with pilots ended up without an agreement.

The pilots association said in a statement on Friday that a "heavy social climate" prevails over the company, adding that the situation was "exacerbated by 20 months of sterile social dialogue."

On Tuesday, RAM Director Abdelhamid Addou criticized in a letter to the association what he called "the absence of willingness to see the company's development," stressing that organizing a strike "will have devastating effect" on the company.
