ISLAMABAD, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- At least one man was killed and nine others were injured when a bomb went off near a security forces' vehicle in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Sunday, local media reported.

A vehicle of paramilitary troops, the Frontier Corps, was passing by Chaman area of Balochistan when it was hit by the blast, local media Dawn news reported.

The blast was triggered by a remotely controlled device and the explosive materials were fixed at a motorbike parked at the roadside.

Several shops nearby the blast site were damaged as their window glasses got smashed due to the impact of the powerful blast.

One man was killed at the spot, and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Police have cordoned off the area for investigation.
