LUSAKA, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Immigration authorities in Zamia have arrested three foreigners for alleged human trafficking, a spokesperson said on Tuesday.

Namati Nshika, Immigration Department Spokesperson, said the foreigners -- two Kenyans and one Somalian -- were arrested in Lusaka, the country's capital, last week for suspected trafficking of six Somalians into the country.

The victims, including three females, two males and a child aged between five and seven years, were found at a lodge in one of the residential areas in the city, he said.

He said the three suspects were currently detained while the victims have been placed under protection.
