HANOI, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang will pay state visits to Ethiopia and Egypt on Aug. 23-29, the Vietnamese Presidential Office said on Sunday.
The visits, at the invitations of Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, are expected to boost bilateral ties between Vietnam and Ethiopia and Egypt, respectively.
Vietnam established diplomatic relations with Egypt in 1963, and with Ethiopia in 1976.
