One dead, seven seriously injured in train accident in Austria

VIENNA, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- A train collided with a bus on Tuesday in the city of Graz in the south of Austria, leaving one dead and seven others seriously injured, local media reported.

The bus driver was killed in the accident. Totally 11 people were injured, of which seven were in serious condition, the report said.

The number of the injured could rise. The train was traveling towards the city center when the tragedy happened.

The accident is under investigation by the authorities.
