WARSAW, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Two people died and several others were injured after a school bus collided with a truck on Monday morning in Tyrowo, northeastern Poland, local media reported.
All the seven children who were traveling to school on the school bus were taken to local hospitals for observation. Their life seems not to be threatened, according to Polish broadcaster TVN.
The bus driver and the person in charge of the children were dead on the spot. The truck driver was seriously injured, and has been transported to a hospital by helicopter.
The police is investigating the cause of the accident and has designated detours, as the road is still impassable.
