PHNOM PENH, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen will pay a working visit to Japan from Oct. 6-10, according to a foreign ministry statement on Thursday.
In Tokyo, he will attend the 10th Mekong-Japan Summit and deliver a speech focusing on the future direction of the Mekong-Japan cooperation, the statement said.
It added that on the sideline of the summit, the Cambodian prime minister will hold official talks with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe to discuss various bilateral, regional and international issues of common interests.
Both prime ministers will hold a press conference after their talks, the statement said.
Hun Sen's entourage will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn, several senior governmental officials and business leaders from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, it said.
