KHARTOUM, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- South Africa's Deputy President David Mabuza arrived in the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Monday for an official two-day visit.

Mabuza will hold talks on bilateral relations with Sudan's First Vice President Bakri Hassan Saleh and senior Sudanese officials.

"Mabuza is visiting the country as special envoy of South Africa's president and carrying a message to President Omar al-Bashir dealing with the relations between the two countries," Osama Faisal, state minister at Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told reporters Monday.

He said Mabuza will also review South Sudan peace files.
