ISLAMABAD, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least four kids were injured when unknown gunmen attacked a school in Pakistan's southwest Quetta city on Wednesday.

The students including three boys and a girl received bullet injuries in their lower limbs and their condition is stable, Waseem Baig, spokesperson of the Civil Hospital Quetta where all the injured kids were shifted, told Xinhua.

The incident happened when some unknown gunmen sprayed bullets at the students when they were leaving for their homes after attending the school.

The militants fled the scene after the assault, and no group or individual has claimed the attack yet.

The incident happened in Kali Shabu area of Quetta, the provincial capital of the country's southwest Balochistan province.

Police rushed to the attack site after the incident and cordoned it off for investigations.
