WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo said Wednesday he did not spit on Houston point guard Chris Paul in the skirmish between the two teams.

"Look at my body language in the video. My hands on my hips. I turn away for a second. Look at Eric Gordon and Carmelo Anthony in the video. If they saw me spit, they would have turned their face up or something. They had no reaction," Rondo said.

In Saturday's game, Rondo and Paul were both involved in the fight that happened in the last quarter and Rondo drew a three-game suspension for the scuffle, while Paul got two games. Additionally, Lakers forward Brandon Ingram received a four-game suspension for his role in the incident.

Rondo went even further, taking a shot at Paul's reputation at the league.

"Of course, the NBA went with his side because I got three games and he got two," Rondo said. "Everyone wants to believe Chris Paul is a good guy. They don't know he's a horrible teammate. They don't know how he treats people. Look at what he did last season when he was in LA, trying to get to the Clippers' locker room. They don't want to believe he's capable of taunting and igniting an incident," Rondo added.
