KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- At least seven militants killed and eight others injured as fighting aircrafts targeted Taliban hideout in Dasht-e-Archi district of Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province on Monday, a local official Nasrudin Nazari said.
Acting upon intelligence report, the fighting air crafts stormed a Taliban center in Qarluq area of Dasht-e-Archi district early Monday morning killing seven insurgents on the spot and wounding eight others, according to the official.
No civilian was hurt in the sorties, the official added.
Taliban militants have yet commented.
